Automobiles in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police stated they were alerted by a man who discovered a car in Hanau covered with red-colored fluid

Roughly 50 cars have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a official communication.

Officers state they were notified during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then found numerous other smeared automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws outlawing the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials say initial examinations indicate the fluid was probably human blood.

"Currently there is no indication as to where it came from; investigators are presently not aware of any physical harm in association with the event," they commented.

City officials announced they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have asked to the residents for information.

An important representative said the vandalism rendered him stunned and had to be resolved promptly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the far-right violent incident in 2020," he wrote on online, recalling the killing of nine people by a gunman targeting individuals of foreign heritage in five years prior.
