Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
